Yikes, so behind in my posting! Meet Missy and Buddy. Missy was a ball of attitude and cuter than a button with her little tongue always sticking out. She was very protective over her ‘turf’. Buddy was shy and sweet.

Saturday will be Minnie’s three month anniversary with us. For those of you new to my blog, I adopted Minnie in May after taking her adoption photo for the Animal Guardian Network. When I first met Minnie, she was very shy. She had lived the first six months of her life in a cage, then only to be adopted by someone who abused her. From the moment I met Minnie, I fell in love with her soulful eyes. Three months later and Minnie has fit so perfectly into our family. Rickey and Minnie are inseparable, and Luci, well, Luci is just happy that now Rickey has someone else to play with. Minnie is so affectionate and sweet, you would never know the beginning of her life was so rough. She is so fun, and so smart, sometimes I get a weird feeling that she was a human in her past life. There is so much behind her eyes, and the way she looks at you. Anyway, here are a few photos of her and Rickey playing around. Thanks for looking!

*Rickey’s allergies are acting up, that’s why his stomach is so red. He is on a daily dose of cyclosporine, he eats a grain free diet and I bathe him regularly with medicated shampoo. He takes multiple supplements, and I just don’t know what else to do. If anyone has any suggestions, other than keeping him in a bubble, I would love to hear them!

and I just had to add this photo of Rickey even though it’s a little out of focus. His little teeth are just too cute!

Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales, that’s all she ever thinks about. ~Little Wing, Jimi Hendrix
